The Vincentric lifecycle costs, sometimes called the total cost of ownership, are comprised of 8 different cost elements, with each cost element measured for up to 12 different mileage/timeframes.  The result is access to vehicle ownership costs that fit the actual usage for the vehicle being researched.

 

 

 

 

When you subscribe, you also have access to the Vincentric Fleet Price, which takes into account manufacturers’ published fleet incentives, thereby estimating the price fleet buyers are paying under current market conditions.

 

Customizable Features

 

In addition to the 12 different mileage/timeframes, additional flexibility is available to users of Vinbase Online for Fleets through the customization feature.  This allows users to:

 

• Customize the Acquisition Cost:  Numerous factors impact the actual acquisition cost incurred.  When viewing the various reports provided in Vinbase Online for Fleets, users can either use the default Vincentric Fleet Price or enter a custom price based on an actual or assumed price quote.  This feature is useful for both buyers and sellers, allowing the user to see how an adjustment in acquisition cost impacts lifecycle cost for any particular vehicle
• Customize the Financing Rates:  The default financing costs are based on current interest rates for a typical vehicle buyer.  However, if promotional rates are offered or alternative down payment options are used, the customization feature will show the impact from these factors
• Customize Fuel Price:  Using the most recent state and national averages and an inflation factor for future years, Vinbase Online for Fleets provides default fuel cost estimates.  If you wish to make assumptions with different fuel costs or assume drastic increases or flat fuel costs over time, you can do so with Vinbase Online for Fleets.
• Additional customization.  Because some users don’t include certain costs when calculating lifecycle cost analysis, users are able to include or exclude these costs when using Vinbase Online for Fleets to calculate costs.
