In a closely fought contest, the Saturn ION 2 unseated last year’s winner – the Toyota Corolla. Although the Corolla was best in 5 of 12 lifecycle scenarios, it couldn’t overcome the strengths of the ION in the lower mileage scenarios. The Mazda3 was the winner in the remaining lifecycle scenario measured.
