Competition was tough in the subcompact segment, but the Toyota Yaris secured the win for the 2014 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada award. With the lowest cost of ownership in 13 of 24 lifecycle scenarios measured, low depreciation helped the Yaris hold off strong performances by the Hyundai Accent, Nissan Versa Note, and the Scion xD.

The Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada award is based on the vehicle's performance over multiple annual distances (15k, 25k, 30k, 40k, 50K and 60k) and multiple lengths of ownership (24, 36, 48 and 60 months). The chart shown above reflects results from three years of ownership at 30,000 kilometers per year.
