Full-Size Passenger Van, 1 Ton

2012 Chevrolet Express 3500 LS Wagon 135 WB

It was a piece of cake for the Chevrolet Express 3500, taking top honours in the 1 Ton Passenger Van segment with 7 out of the 8 ownerships costs measured performing lower than the segment average. Key factors in winning the Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada award were the low insurance and depreciation costs incurred by the Express. The Ford E-350 and the GMC Savana 3500 weren’t a factor as the Express claimed lowest cost to own in all 24 lifecycle scenarios analyzed.

Cost-of-Ownership compared to Segment Averages

The Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada award is based on the vehicle's performance over multiple annual distances (15k, 25k, 30k, 40k, 50K and 60k) and multiple lengths of ownership (24, 36, 48 and 60 months). The chart shown above reflects results from three years of ownership at 30,000 kilometers per year.
