2012 Hyundai Accent

There is a new champion in this subcompact segment, with the newly designed Hyundai Accent winning the Vincentric Best Value in America award for the first time. The Accent produced results that outperformed the 19 other vehicles, including the the runner-up Kia Soul, the popular Honda Fit, and last year’s winner – the Nissan cube. The Accent's win was due to its well rounded scores, including better than average results with fuel, insurance, and operating costs.

Cost-of-Ownership Compared to Segment Averages

The Vincentric Best Value in America awards are based on the model level average of all trim levels within the model. Ownership costs for each trim level are measured at annual mileages of 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000.
