For the second year in a row Volvo has topped the class of automotive luxury, outperforming other well-known luxury brands by providing an unsurpassed value proposition to discerning buyers of a premium vehicle. Although Lexus delivered a strong performance to take the runner-up spot, the Volvo products showed strength with low depreciation rates, low total cost-of-ownership, outstanding fuel economy, and low insurance costs. Although safety + security may be synonymous with Volvo, the equation actually shows that safety + security = value.
