With this heavy duty segment, it's not surprising that the Chevrolet Silverado 3500 stomped the competition, winning the Vincentric Best Value in America award for the third year in a row. With its low cost to insure and low depreciation costs, this 1 ton machine delivered a ton of value, although the competition from Ram showed that the segment will be a tough battleground in coming years.

The Vincentric Best Value in America awards are based on the model level average of all trim levels within the model. Ownership costs for each trim level are measured at annual mileages of 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000.
