2012 Ford F-150

In this highly competitive, high-volume pickup segment, the Ford F-150 snared the victory and the 2012 Vincentric Best Value in America award from its arch rival the Chevrolet Silverado for the second year in a row. The key factors in this win were due to best-in-class fuel economy, low insurance costs and the lowest depreciation rate in the segment. It all added up to ownership costs for the F-150 that were 3% lower than expected.

Cost-of-Ownership Compared to Segment Averages

The Vincentric Best Value in America awards are based on the model level average of all trim levels within the model. Ownership costs for each trim level are measured at annual mileages of 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000.
