Crossover, Large

2012 Mazda CX-9

The Mazda CX-9 is the top dog in the large crossover segment, winning the Vincentric Best Value in America award for the first time. What took this vehicle to the top of the pack? The Mazda CX-9 had the lowest rate of depreciation and best in class total cost-of-ownership, at 3% less to own than expected. Although this stylish and spacious crossover is a force to be reckoned with, it can’t get complacent…the GMC Acadia was not far behind, taking second place with low insurance and operating costs.

Cost-of-Ownership Compared to Segment Averages

The Vincentric Best Value in America awards are based on the model level average of all trim levels within the model. Ownership costs for each trim level are measured at annual mileages of 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000.
