2012 Hyundai Tucson

This second-time winner of the Vincentric Best Value in America Award has gained popularity with its European design, but the Hyundai Tucson isn’t just easy on the eyes - it’s also easy on your wallet, with the lowest operating costs in this category,  and costing only 57 cents per mile to own. Although the Mitsubishi Outlander and the Kia Sportage were not far behind, they’ll have to do better next year if they want to overtake the Tucson.

Cost-of-Ownership Compared to Segment Averages

The Vincentric Best Value in America awards are based on the model level average of all trim levels within the model. Ownership costs for each trim level are measured at annual mileages of 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000.
