Full-Size Cargo Van, 1/2 Ton

2012 Chevrolet/GMC Express/Savana G1500 Cargo SWB

It was dominating performance for the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana G1500 Cargo vans, as they showed the best overall lifecycle costs in 20 out of 20 scenarios measured. Competing against Ford and Nissan for this title, this General Motors team took down its opponents with outstanding results in insurance and depreciation, while also demonstrating low fuel costs, which continue to be critical as fuel becomes a higher percentage of overall lifecycle costs. The Express is no stranger to the Vincentric award, with 2012 being its fifth consecutive year in the winner’s circle.

The chart shown above reflects results from three years of ownership at 20,000 miles per year.
