VINCENTRIC BEST VALUE IN AMERICA AWARDS

 

Once per year Vincentric performs a cost of ownership analysis at the model level to determine Vincentric Best Value in America™ awards. Vincentric measures cost-of-ownership using eight different cost factors: depreciation, fees & taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs. Using a statistical model, winners were identified by measuring which vehicles had lower than expected ownership costs given their market segment and price. Each vehicle was evaluated in all 50 states plus DC using a range of annual mileage intervals and insurance profiles. A full list of winners is shown below.

   2024 AWARD WINNERS

BRAND AWARDS        

Passenger Car Brand                  
Returning for an outstanding ninth-time win in the Passenger Car category, Toyota's alternative-fuel vehicles showed their strength this year, with the Corolla Hybrid, Prius Prime, and Camry Hybrid all winning their segments.
Luxury Car Brand
Lexus earned the Luxury Car brand award for an impressive eighth time, helped by model-level wins for the RC and ES Hybrid.
SUV & Van Brand
Toyota won the SUV & Van brand award for the seventh time. Award-winning performances from the RAV4 Prime, Venza, Sequoia, and Sienna helped Toyota take top honors. 
Luxury SUV Brand

For the second year in a row, Tesla came out on top of the Luxury SUV brand category. Tesla's champion for 2024 was the Model Y, which won the Luxury Compact SUV segment for the second consecutive year.
Truck Brand Ford's F-series pickups are no strangers to the winners circle. The F-150 Lightning, F-250, and F-350 all outperformed the competition in their segments, along with the Maverick Hybrid, propelling Ford to this eighth-time brand-level victory.
