For the first time in the 7-year history of Vincentric’s Best Value awards, the results for all passenger vehicles were analyzed by brand to see which provided the best performance in the Vincentric value analysis. The winner? Toyota.  It wasn’t surprising, considering that Toyota won more passenger vehicle awards than any other brand.  But the win occurred due to lower than expected ownership costs for the full passenger vehicle line-up. In that measurement Toyota used across-the-board strength in all 8 cost categories- and in particular an extremely low depreciation rate- to lay claim as Vincentric’s Best Passenger Car Value in America for 2012.

2012 Toyota - Passenger Car Cost of Ownership Averages

Vincentric's Best Value in America awards are based on the model level average of all trim levels within the model.  Ownership costs for each trim level are measured at annual mileages of 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000.
